Icapuí is located close to the border of Rio Grande do Norte. The view onto the palm grove from the hilltop is absolutely breathtaking. And you won't be disappointed when discovering the area. The village itself is as pleasant as you would expect and you'll enjoy watching women doing lacework and embroidery, fishermen reparing their nets, and cows grazing peacefully in the shade of coconut trees. You'll probably also come across some old lady proudly introducing her 18 month-old grandson... Also, if you have a chance to come across a manioc mill, you may be lucky enough to taste freshly made tapioca. |
