Mucuripe is my favourite district, probably because I lived there for two years, just opposite the jangadas. However, it is hard to believe Orson Welles shot a number of scenes of his film "Its' all true" on this very beach. In fact, the little church where the wedding scene was shot is still there, right between Hotel Samburá and the Peixada do Meio restaurant! |
