This old lighthouse is the one you can see in Orson Welles "It's all true". Yes, the surroundings changed quite a bit since the 40s! Inside, a mini-museum presents plans of Fortaleza in the previous centuries along with a couple of pictures made early last century. From the terrace, you'll enjoy a panoramic view embracing the popular district surrounding the lighthouse, the harbour and Fortaleza's sea front. |
