All pictures were made in Fortaleza and Ceará in the mid-eighties, in the late nineties and since 2,000.

History lovers will be disappointed in Ceará: there are just no historical sites. Indeed, foreign tourists usually come to Ceará for its tropical beaches and for fun. Anyway, our purpose in designing this site was not to show beautiful beaches. After all, they're basically all very similar to one another. We preferred to show Ceará as you will see it, i.e. daily life, people, lost villages, plants, etc. Therefore, don't expect to see breathtaking pictures - at least, not necessarily breathtakingly beautiful ones.

Aquiceará includes over 3,000 pictures. However, we elected not to show them at the same time and to publish new slideshows every fortnight.
